Street Dance

Urban Street Dance

Dance is such an expressive art form and with our Urban Street Dance sessions there’s no wrong move. We just want everyone to feel included and enjoy themselves from our centre at Westpark in Wellington:

Term time

4-8 years: 6pm – 6.55pm
9-15 years: 7pm – 7.55pm

Class fees: £34 per month (classes are term time but we are spreading costs over 12 payments per year)

In addition to the term time weekly classes the monthly fee includes an additional 2 hours once a month on a Sunday (dates to be advised). This is an exciting addition to classes to enable all dance members to work together towards a larger showcase.

Accelerate has an annual membership fee of £20. If you are already a member you don’t have to pay this again.

Our recreational Urban Street Dance sessions will cover a number of styles, including hip hop, locking, popping and house to name a few. Learning the technical moves, finding a groove, building routines and improvisation will form the basis of each session. Classes will be fun and interactive and there will be events held for showcasing the fabulous routines created.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase merch, a funky dance T-shirt and hoodie that can be worn to each session and for showcases.

You can book a trial to see if it’s right for you. Class sizes are restricted to ensure adequate focus on learning dance techniques and routines
