Gymnastics Trial
If you are unsure if gymnastics is for you, we offer a trial session for only £12.
Prior to booking a trial, please see below our fee structure. This is for 50 weeks of the year and spread equally over 12 monthly payments (we close for 2 weeks over Christmas – dates confirmed to members each year).
Annual Club Membership – £24 (this is due every year on the anniversary of you joining). It covers a range of club costs that keep us ticking.
Monthly Club Fees
1 session per week – £Enquire per month
2 sessions per week – £Enquire per month
3 sessions per week – £Enquire per month
We offer a discounted rate for more hours which can be discussed if required.
Generally, this is for those that are looking to compete on one of our squads.
Please note if you want to do 1 session of gymnastics and 1 session of trampolining your sessions are combined so you save with the 2 sessions per month fee.
Step 1 – BOOK TRIAL
Anyone looking to trial gymnastics should purchase a trial session from our online Shop on our trampoline website (you will be diverted).
Please add the name of the child and Date of Birth in the “Order Notes” section on checkout as a reference as well as the preferred venue:
Gymnastics – Wellington, Willand or Yeovil.
Trampolining – Wellington, Taunton or Willand
The trial fee is not refundable and covers our costs of administration and the trial itself.
If you have more than one sibling, please add them to the order by changing the number on the order and adding their details as well.
Step 2 – CONFIRM SESSION
Once we receive the order for the trial, we will email you full details of the fees and offer a trial session in the class that is most suited depending on their age or ability. This is the class they would expect to attend once joined.
Step 3 – ATTEND TRIAL
Attend the trial session. If you are unsure where to go in the venue, ask at reception and they can point you in the right direction. When entering the hall find one of our team who will work out which coach you are with for the trial
Step 4 – ACCEPT or REJECT
After the trial session you will receive an email giving you the opportunity to accept or reject the place. Please note we have an extremely high sign-up rate and places fill quickly. Feel free to email us immediately if you want to accept to get your place.
Step 5 – CONFIRM MEMBERSHIP in ACCELERATE
When you accept your place, you will receive a reminder of the day and time of the class you will be attending by email.
Only when you have paid the annual membership fee will you be added to the class. If you delay paying you risk the chance your space will be filled. You also get access to our club app which enables you to see updates of your child’s progress, skill videos, attendance, holiday requests, fee statements etc
Step 6 – CREATE STANDING ORDER
Please create a standing order to the bank details on the email. Please note failure to pay by standing order will incur a £10 charge per month.
If you were to ever leave it is your responsibility to cancel the standing order. We do not refund any monies received once you have left if you have failed to cancel the standing order.
Step 7 – REGISTER WITH BRITISH GYMNASTICS
Each gymnast will need to become a member of British Gymnastics. This will cost £24.00 for School Aged children and £14.00 for Pre School children and this is paid directly to British Gymnastics.
This membership is an insurance package which needs to be in place for everyone who does gymnastics or trampolining. It acts just like your car insurance; every driver has to have it and hopes never to use it.
You can do this by going to the website www.british-gymnastics.org.uk/membership and completing online. You will be given your personal BG number. If you have any problem with this, you can call their helpline 0345 1297129.
Step 8 – ENJOY BEING A MEMBER OF ACCELERATE
“Finally, A Gym Culture Where Everyone is Welcome.”
All our coaches are qualified through British Gymnastics. They all hold current British gymnastics insurance aswell as an up to date DBS and a certificate in safeguarding.
